My last sneak peek of the night... I see these three almost every day - either running for the bus with my youngest daughter (well, the oldest two anyway) or outside playing. And as I was scanning through their photos, I immediately thought that these three photos show off so much of their personalities. The shy, serious smile for the oldest, the giggles for the middle one and being carefree and running/posing with a leaf she had found for the youngest.

While he’s active in various school activities, including cross country and tennis, he also loves to read. I contacted the Platte City library, and they were very gracious in letting us spend a few minutes there before we moved on to a different location to finish his senior photo session. Here’s just a quick sneak peek from his session -

This year, the location we decided on had a little bit of everything – a fountain, beautiful landscaping, some rocks and Zumba in the Park was going on. What normally is a quiet location was rockin’ with dance music and it made for a fun session! Just a few of my favorites -

We had checked out Honey Creek Resort State Park this past winter while attending their waterpark with some friends. We thought it looked like a nice area with a few feet of snow on the ground, so we went back this summer to camp. It was an unseasonably cool Memorial Day weekend, but we had a lot of fun exploring the area. The RV sites are large, roomy paved sites with waterpark passes included. The whole Honey Creek area has lots of walking/biking trails, the coolest playground we have ever seen, a nice little beach area and many other things we didn’t have time to check out. It’s definitely a place that we will be going back to sometime soon!
