Camping

We had made plans to go camping this past weekend several weeks ago. Up until this month, it has been one of those summers where the temperatures have been nice and not too hot and the humidity has been tolerable. That all changed with the month of August and this past weekend was the hottest weekend of the summer so far. With temperatures in the low 100s and high humidity, I am very happy that we had a sleeping cabin with air conditioning! And of course to add to the insanity of camping in those temperatures, we had to build a campfire. Thankfully, the second night was made more tolerable with the company of friends, a little bit of a breeze and lots of bug spray.

I feel all hot and buggy just looking at them.
Nice job, esp. in the colors!
