Rain, Rain, Go Away! | Kansas City Area Family Photographer

All day yesterday, it looked like it was going to rain. With a family session scheduled, I was hoping it would either move through and clear up fast or at least stop raining long enough to take their photos. Of course, Mother Nature didn’t make it easy on us and had me worried that we would need to reschedule. Sara, the mom, however, was quite optimistic that we would be able to get their session done in between rain showers. She was right. šŸ™‚

We stepped through mud/water puddles, walked through the wet grass, and luckily only had one small fall. Thankfully it wasn’t into a mud puddle!

As we were finishing up, the skies opened up again. We hurriedly grabbed our stuff, loaded up our vehicles and after talking for a bit, took off in opposite directions towards our homes. I’m not sure how much longer it rained at their house, but after my 20 minute drive, I was greeted to sunshine when I got home. I’m hoping Mother Nature doesn’t have this much fun at all of my sessions this fall!

Thanks for being such troopers and meeting me on such a dreary day! I hope you enjoy your Sneak Peek! (and see, I didn’t mention the funny faces, hilarious comments from your boys or what they were doing to each other when their hands were behind each others backs šŸ˜‰ )
